Meeting on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays during term time

The Mindful Makers meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, 10.00 – Noon, during term time in the Church of the Resurrection in Blarney. Bring along your own project. Share your work, get new ideas, or just enjoy some extra space to work. Each session begins with a short Out of the Box story, which gives us a few minutes to pause and reflect. The group is free of charge and new members are always welcome!

Crochet Christmas Tree

The makers are going to be creating a 9 ft tall Christmas tree composed of crochet granny squares to go on display in the church yard in December! Even if you can’t make it to meetings regularly, you are very welcome to contribute some granny squares towards the effort!

The Knitted Bible Project

A year in the making, the Mindful Makers put on the Knitted Bible display during Holy Week 2025! Twenty-seven Bible stories, portrayed through knitting and crochet. The whole experience was so successful the group have produced a fundraiser calendar with photos of the scenes, which will be on sale in the autumn!
