Unrestricted Invitation
- Opening our doors as a place of welcome and belonging for all young people.
- Reaching out to and supporting young people dealing with challenging circumstances.
- Linking in with parish young people, who struggle with group-based activities.
Intentional Relationships
- Interacting with young people in the knowledge that they are God’s handiwork, created with the purpose of knowing and loving Him.
- Demonstrating God’s love to parents through our interactions with their young people.
- Accepting and accompanying young people as they navigate the challenges of life, while consistently acting as signposts to the unshakable love of God.
Creative Gospel Sharing
- Crafting community spaces where young people can encounter God’s love for themselves.
- Communicating the truth of the Bible in a way that is accessible to young people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Cultivating a culture of openness to questions and doubt, embracing the highs and lows of the faith journey while facilitating curiosity and the seeking of wisdom and understanding
- Inviting young people to live in the hope of God’s restoration of all things, and to embody that anticipation through Kingdom work that announces Christ’s lordship.
Building Church Family
- Embedding and connecting young people in the life of the church through serving them and committing to pray with and for them.
- Inviting young people to explore the variety of ways of encountering God as part of the wider church family.
- Involving young people in the building up of the body through opportunities for service and enabling community impact as an outpouring of personal faith.
- Supporting Volunteers to use their God-given gifts and skills to engage with young people.
Jesus-Shaped Discipleship
- Empowering young people, rooted and established in love, to live a life of faith in Jesus.
- Equipping young people to develop a rhythm of prayer, worship, fellowship, thanksgiving and seeking wisdom in the Word, to support them throughout their walk with Him.
- Encouraging young people to allow God to shape their identity as Jesus followers and active members of the body of believers.
