Day 4 – Praying for those who are Burnt Out
Lent Prayer Day 3 – Prayer for the Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross
Our Union of Parishes are part of Cork, Cloyne and Ross Diocese. As a family of parishes in this corner of the Island.
Please pray today for Bishop Paul Colton, for the parishes around the diocese and all involved in the churches and ministries as we seek to be faithful in our worship, confident in our discipleship and joyful in our service.
Day 2 – Prayer focus – for our Ukrainian Friends
Here in Cork we have been privileged to now know a few of the many individuals and families who have been displaced by the war in Ukraine.
We pray for those who we love and for those on their hearts back home in Ukraine.
We pray for them as they continue to integrate into irish society and culture.
We pray for peace – Peace where there is war but also the deep peace in our friends lives.
Lord in your mercy
hear our prayer
Welcome to our Lent prayer blog – Ash Wednesday
As we begin lent this year – each day you are invited to pray 🙏 to pray for whatever is on your heart.
I will also be adding in a theme a day to help you pray – either for yourself, those known to you or simply for those unknown.
Lent is a time to think, to pray and to act
May you know the Lord’s Presence this Lent.
If you are around Cork City you are more than welcome to join us this evening in St. Peter’s Church, Carrigrohane at 7.30pm
